The starting point of this project was to imagine Lisbon flooded and to create a transportation hub, near the river Tejo.
The Hub would act like a floating bridge connecting prt, metro, train and cruiser station. With this work we pretended to celebrate a new era for the city of Lisbon, where people would not live public areas in the ground but in a elevated level. With the help of platforms inspired in the “gaioleiro” system, and a new flexible structure that would permit different types of occupation and to create extensions of the original building anytime it was necessary.
This work was done in collaboration with Bruno Pereira.
